President, Teresa M. Rosado, Ph.D.

Dr. Teresa Rosado is president and owner of JurisComm, LLC, a litigation and communication consulting firm in San Diego, California. She is the primary designer and facilitator of all research projects for the company. She has consulted on hundreds of civil cases in both federal and state courts throughout the United States, and her practical experience ranges from complex multi-party commercial litigation to medical malpractice and personal injury disputes. She has worked on numerous high profile cases (which include tobacco, asbestos, pharmaceutical product liability, and credit card corporation antitrust).

Dr. Rosado has extensive experience in the design and analysis of mock trial and focus group research. She has conducted hundreds of post-trial interviews and shadow juries, and relies on that experience and her knowledge of juror decision making to advise clients on courtroom persuasion, strategic jury selection, case theme development, and witness preparation. She has written and lectured nationally on the application of creative methods to the trial preparation process, jury decision making and effective courtroom communication. Her research on the influence of videotape images and computer generated simulations on juror decision making has been recognized by her peers for contribution to the litigation consulting field. Dr. Rosado received her Ph.D. from Northwestern Univerisity in communication studies, with an emphasis in legal communication.
